I suppose us 50 percenters (taxpayers) will have to pay for the police overtime and cleanup. As usual.
I was starting to wonder when the citizenry was going to pack up their stuff for them and remove them.
Quite a scene in Denver this morning. Tons of cops surrounding the park.
Apparently, many of the folks have vandalized several of the lights in the park to steal electricity off of them. 9 News says Xcel is there attempting to perform repairs on the damage.

lol Just taking it to the man, those evil polluting utilities! They should give us free electricity for our laptops. And those evil corporations who make the smartphones we cant live without.

Well it looks like they sent in the jack booted thugs at about 3am. Hippies had just gone to bed in their tents after another night of bongo's, bonghits and chants about evil corporations. They hadn't even slept off half their buzz- only to be awakened by the Man and kicked out of their humble living quarters.
By 6 AM the arrests started (I thought they would wait one more day) ordered up by Colorado's "progressive" governor.
It's just about all cleaned up now- the last of the structures have been torn down and all that is left is the stench of urine and a faint wiff of patchouli here and there.
Where will these people reassemble? Maybe they should find a place that does not require a permit- they must have forgot that Denver has a law or ordinance for just about everything- your not going to scratch your own butt in Denver without being in violation of somthing.
That's the benefits of an overreaching government and excessive regulation- your always in violation and all the man has to do is single you out and pick the time to come down on ya.
Welcome to the American police state.
The park belongs to "the people"- (the people who pay for a permit)- not to all you hippies!

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
