I can't wait for Cain vs Obama.

I'm really enjoying reading all the comments and analysis on the debate on the political sites this morning. Well, almost every political site. The Tea Party Patriots don't even mention it. They're still going on about Occupy Wall Street and the president's teleprompter being stolen. I guess according to them, the debate didn't happen.

Last night's debate was a keeper. If you haven't watched it, you should.

The turtles were unimpressed with the performances.

The righties on here seems unusually silent the morning after.

Do you think there was a clear winner from last night's debate? How about a clear loser?

I thought the clear winner was Newt. Clear loser was Bachman.

Newt did the best, Romney was himself. Cain was wrong on almost everything but likeable, Santorum was a baby,Perry was desperate, Paul was consistent and provocative, Bachman seemed panicked. Huntsman by staying away looked smart.
IMHO of course.

The current way they run debates makes them pretty worthless. Read the candidates websites, examine their past records. Debates are just gotcha moments and hoping to make a soundbite that will be on the news later that evening.

Soon it will be like Idiocracy and the country will be picking quick witted comedians like John Stewart or well trained speakers like Obama instead of people with actual experience and developed plans.

Other than your Jon Stewart comment, I have to agree, thats why Huntsman won in IMHO.

I think Huntsman is out, having miscued by skipping the most important debate of the series.

Fox is asking if Cain has peaked.

We'll have to wait for Rush to announce his pick:
