Thieves Preying On Occupy Wall Street Protest

And I thought the OWS protestors were all in favor of the redistribution of private property - from the NY Post: "Occupy Wall Street protesters said yesterday that packs of brazen crooks within their ranks have been robbing their fellow demonstrators blind, making off with pricey cameras, phones and laptops -- and even a hefty bundle of donated cash and food."

“Stealing is our biggest problem at the moment,” said Nan Terrie, 18, a kitchen and legal-team volunteer from Fort Lauderdale. “I had my Mac stolen -- that was like $5,500. Every night, something else is gone. Last night, our entire [kitchen] budget for the day was stolen...!”

What do they expect? It's New York City.

Would you leave your Mac in your tent in the woods? Hell no. Why would you do it New York City?

I had read that prior to the police shutting down the protesters in Denver last week, that somebody (most likely protest organizers) had gone through the tent city area and stole all the rocks, bottles and other objects that could have been thrown at the advancing police.

Pr*cks!

Yup, just like the Tea Party  If these poor bastards are so broke, why are there so many goodies to steal? It's going to be funny watching these morons when NY freezes.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I'm scratching my head on this one... If everything is supposed to belong to "everyone" then how can anyone say something was stolen? Either they are Socialists or they ain't, so which is it?

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

It might take too much of your time but maybe you could listen to some of the people at these protests --> http://285bound.com/Forums/viewtopic.php?f=29&t=15250

Seems to me that most of them are pro-socialism and the rest are to incoherent to know what the movement even stands for. Speaking of movements, excuse me while I depart for my evening constitutional, at least I will be using proper facilities. I now return you to your dope smoking, socialist, lack of of reality world. Enjoy - get back to me when that hope and change thing pays off for you.

Yes, I'm sure that all of the people protesting are represented by exactly those veiwpoints. Just like the tea party is well represented by the racist comments made by a few of them...
