It was all over the news here in real time. Live video of the event was all over arab TV news programs that droned on and on for hours on end.

Looking at the remnants of Sirte earlier. Few buildings remained habitable. It seems no one ever really wins a war. The winners are long time losers in the quality of life. I've not directly experienced the aftermath of war at an age when I could remember what its like. Even so, the wanton and indiscriminate destruction telecast from war zones is a good reminder of where the US does not want to go. Yet, I've a feeling we will experience this in the not too distant future with out own revolution.
