I think he would appeal to a broad range of voters, which is still necessary to win a national election.

Because the hard right want to be pure and are willing to lose and nominate a whack. We all lose.

Other than his married life, do you think Newt is a whack? He is by far the most intelligent in both parties.

newt is smart but has too much baggage to be a serious candidate.

I would think that his married life would be indicative of the kind of man he is. What are your issues with Huntsman viking?

Fixed my typo on married by the way.

And what baggage other than the affair? And that was over 15 years ago. And he is polling in third in a few polls and a few states now. And he just came in a pretty close third in the Nevada straw poll. He gains every debate. And now that Fax added 2 more, he has 5 more polls to gain. Still think he would be a fantastic VP if he doesn't win.

Not according to how you guys kept supporting Clinton after his affairs and lying to congress. So it shouldn't matter with Newt right?

So you are saying that Newt's issues with his marriages shouldn't matter to conservatives because Clinton's didn't matter to Democrats. Not sure I follow that logic, but I'll take your word for it.

So.....what about Huntsman?

Never happen, if Democrats, or even independents, like him there there must be something terribly wrong with him.
