Something does not sound right here. first off the members of that team not all but some were killed in the helo crash. The seal team was told not to discuss the mission, and now there is a book written about it. Have to agree with NC, I do not know of any Seal team members that talk to anyone about thier mission other than things like debriefs.

Wouldn't most of the specific details still be classified (like for the next 20 years or so)? I can't imagine anyone involved in the raid would trade their freedom, and potentially their life, for bragging rights much less publish a book. Maybe Barry talked the Director of National Intelligence and the Director of Central Intelligence into declassifying the information in hopes of getting re-elected?
More likely, the book is a kin to Tom Clancy's works of fiction, his stories are laced with facts and the story line is supported with what would logically lead to the correct results.

Pfarrer bases his account in “SEAL Target Geronimo” on face-to-face interviews he claims to have had with several men involved in the raid. The book has created controversy, as CNN writes that a U.S. official told the network that every member of the Navy SEAL team on the raid has been questioned by superiors about whether they spoke to Pfarrer.

Well I am throwing the BS flag on it. This guy I doubt got reall accounts of the events. he has written a few books so my thinking is he wrote a book going from what he was able to piece together from info he could get his hands on. Those guys are not going to risk thier careers and thier freedom to violate the silence orders they were given. If that did happen, thier careers as seals would be over fast. Those guys trust factors are extreme. Violate that and you are gone.
