lol I think he is just being a good Christian and honoring his mother by respecting her wishes.

I do guess at some point in your parents' lives you do have to overrule them. I am happy I am not at that point yet.

So a commercial "help my a$$ is fused to a chair and I can't get up" is out of the question?

This is a horrible story about a woman left to die in squalor and pain and some of you are twisted enough to try to make it about political positions? The selfish callousness and stupidity of using this as some kind of "point" defies belief.

This forum has degenerated even since the last time I checked in - and found it to be hopelessly mired in hateful gibberish.

You ought to be ashamed of yourselves.

I am ashamed that my idea for a new medical alert commercial was taken so lightly. :Whatever: Considering we are a local site, I don't think Missouri law enforcement is that concerned with our posts. The woman's suffering will probably come back to haunt her caring son.

I just wanted to jump on this before Lady Jazzer used it for her own purposes.

In a society who thinks that such a horrifying death means nothing more than fodder for political jesting, should we be surprised that her son didn't take her plight more seriously?

I'm ashamed to live in the same community with some of you. More and more, I'm ashamed to belong to the SAME SPECIES as some of you.

Unless there was an update, she is still alive. But since your post at 12:48 pm, over 50 people have died worldwide. You can dwell in the sorrow or accept it and move on.

That's good. Then you shouldn't feel too put out when I don't invite you to my Christmas party.

If you think you are making LJ look bad you're an idiot. You make YOU look bad. If you're going to behave like a troll at least take the GOP out of your name. I'm sick of a few hateful sociopaths painting everyone on the right.
