If this doesn't end Cain's campaign nothing will

Nope. Romney can't really break 25%. There is 75% ANTI Romney voters. They just have to settle on one candidate. As much baggage as Newt has I still think he has a much better shot than Romney.

when it comes down to voting Dem or Rep, the right will hold their nose and vote Romney, but independents will vote Obama and he'll win. Looks like what's her name was right, if you don't run Christy, Romney will get the nomination and you'll lose.

Who said that? And why would indy's vote for Obama over Romney? Obama totally lied to them.

Maybe, but I would not depend too much on what Rachael says.

Since this has veered from Cain to the general election, here is an interesting perspective. The kids who supported him enthusiastically have lost the fire in their belly but the school system in this country has produced 8 million more to take there place. Looking at the OWS movement, they might be right.
"Interviews here and across the country suggest that most of his college supporters of 2008 are still inclined to vote for him. But the Obama ground army of 2008 is hardly ready to jump back into the trenches, potentially depriving Mr. Obama of what had been an important force in his victory.

Mr. Obama's advisers, while acknowledging the shift, said they were confident that the loss of these workers would be negated by an influx of new students who have turned of voting age since 2008. Mr. Obama's campaign manager, Jim Messina, said there had been eight million voters ages 18 to 21 registered since the last election, most of whom were Democrats."........

1) If Christie was in the race, he would be getting cut up too, probably by Viking no less. Just too liberal for the heartland.
2) Independents will vote for Obama? I don't agree, but I also could see them not voting for the Republican choice either. Will people just stay home this time?
In 2008, people were voting for history, I don't notice quite the same excitement this time. One reason people want Hilary to run, to inspire women to get excited with a new campaign.

Scarborough: I was embarrassed by Herman Cain before it was cool

On Tuesday’s episode of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” a series of gaffes by former Godfather’s Pizza CEO Herman Cain over the last two days inspired a visceral reaction from Scarborough, who took aim at both his conservative detractors and the GOP candidate.

"It has nothing to do with ideology but everything to do with whether you would trust (these candidates) to run a Slupee stand in your hometown." - Joe Scarborough
