I like that one...
Here's another for the Liberals -
"We don't even pretend to balance a budget"
Nor do the Republicans.
Perhaps if one party or the other would pass a law that demands a balanced budget we'd be going in the right financial direction. Thus far Barry and his buddies have not made any progress in that direction.
Now that the election is near Barry is suddenly in favor of tax cuts and reduced payroll deductions; that is the only thing that is transparent about this administration - get reelected or blame the Republicans while trying.
I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford
Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus
Neither party is in a position to brag about their buget skills. Both have had an opportunity and neither have delivered. Does anyone honestly expect that to change?

Yes, we care about not taxing people beyond their means. We care about not destroying peoples' jobs by excessive regulation.
Yes, we care about peoples' safety so we lock up career crimminals and defeat terrorists with extreme measures.
