Then kindly point out the reason you started this thread, if not to bring our attention to Bachmann's gaffe.

You can't have it both ways, Viking. A gaffe is either detrimental to a candidate or it is not. Apparently, in your eyes, if a candidate is in your favor, then a gaffe means nothing and we should focus on their record. If you are against a candidate, then a gaffe means that they are unqualified to hold office.

Apparently if you don't support Viking's candidate... you're too stupid to vote.

And again for all you who keep dodging the question. WHY do you support the candidate that YOU support?

And, again, why did you start this thread? Was it to point out a gaffe by a candidate that you don't support?

I have pointed out all the mistakes by all the candidates. Someone else put Perry's on here before I did. You jump all over him within minutes. It was the big news last night. Just showing they all make mistakes and who cares? No one want's to look at the meat and potatoes of the candidates. Most voters treat it like a beauty pagent. Now your turn. And anyone else who has the courage to put it out there. Why do you support the person you support?

You're perhaps making the assumption that everyone HAS a candidate they support... I won't speak for everyone, but I will say that of the current line up, ABSOLUTELY NONE of them have impressed me. Unlike many others that are also dissatisfied with the current adminitstration, I will not simply vote in "the default" selection because 'anything is better'.... Its really not and anyone with even half a brain and practical life skills knows that when something isn't working right you do need alternatives, but the correct selection of those alternatives are key... again, as I've said in another thread, "you do not replace a turd with another turd".

So far what I've witnessed here in the CH, is you showing 900 reasons why all candidates are a bad choice, save for Perry, and yet ironically through the raging boner posting method you've done sharing things about him, has shed light of why I WOULD NOT want to even consider voting for him.

A careful decision should be made, but unfortunately there are NO suitable replacements for the current turd problem in the White House, and thus, I suspect several of us do not yet support any candidate.

So what are the MAIN issues that you are looking for in a candidate? Their promises or their records? After Obama, we can never again just trust promises and inexperience. I think we need a proven track record and not one that changes thier mind with however they feel people are thinking. And what do you want to see in the person you vote for?

That line applies to at least half of the GOP lineup (mostly Perry).
