Why is our President forced to suck up to the military?

Obama's at the Army Navy game and he just said "Your'e about to watch our nations best, enjoy the game and god bless America!"

Nations best? They are ranked like 100 and 115 in the nation. LSU would beat either team by 70. I don't mind mixin in a little patriotism but thats just ridiculous. Its like when the North Korean media annouced that Kim Jung Il got 18 hole in ones and scored an 18 while golfing...Don't lie to me

Nobody with any talent goes to the academy's and they haven't been ranked in the top 10 since the late 1800's

I think the real outrage in this statement has been totally missed. Why is President Obama perpetrating a belief in "god"? I thought there was some clear constitutional distinctions between religion and having our federal government promoting the existence of a deity? I'm afraid to say this out loud, but I'm beginning to think that President Obama is not the loyal socialist that he tried to make himself out to be over 3 years ago. Have we been fooled?

Obamas calling the game now-He just said "nobody is tougher pound for pound than Navy"..Oh C'mon! Tougher than Alabama!? The navy players look slow, small and friendly. 3 things you don't wanna be as a football player.

Why is Obama sucking up to the military? Because they vote and in high numbers. Plus he wants the brass on his side. Skipping this game would be bad juju.

The military academies, cannot do as other schools do, in the military there is strict discipline, weight standards etc. Are they as good as the other schools. Most likely not. But I doubt the President was talking about he football ability.

The same reason the Manager of the Grocery store is usually positive to the employees in front of the customers.
Manager = Obama, Employees=Military, Customers = Vicelord and Me and Grandma

I will give you a chance to recant, before proving you are wrong. Both in the football program and your snide remark about the academy's talent.

If the military academies competed against actual student athletes, I think they would be in the Top 20 all the time. These guys are cracking open their books on the flights home instead of partying like rock stars and having papers written by their "tutors".

Where I went to university, I had a class with one of the basketball students, he showed up only on the first day and the last day and passed. One of the other "student-athletes" graduated and went on to sue the school because he was functionally illiterate.
