Michael Savage Offers Newt Gingrich One Million Dollars To Drop Out Of Race

Conservative radio host Michael Savage has offered Newt Gingrich $1 million to drop out of the Republican primary race.

Savage posted the announcement on his website, and will go over the specific terms during his radio show on Monday.

He wrote that the Republican primary race has come down to two candidates: Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich. He said that Romney was the only candidate capable of beating President Barack Obama in the general election. Therefore, he has offered Gingrich $1 million to "drop out of the presidential race for the sake of the nation."

I wouldn't give Newt a penny of my money or anyone else's money... I just want him to drop out.

Then again, this would be like having Thom Hartman or Ed Schultz make an offer like this. Michael Savage is in a small far right corner of the conservative talk radio world and he's mainly seen as a clown by those main stream Republicans who even care to know who he is.

Anyone who says that only one person can beat Obama is obiviously so confused that I wouldn't trust a thing they say.

Obama is out of here- it's not the liberals or true conservatives who matter next year- it's the middle of the road idiots- and they will not be voting for Obama again. They got fooled once- because they were not going to vote for another republican after Bush. They won't be fooled again- the country knows who Obama is now.

We could run the most conservative candidate against Obama and win this time- America knows what a mistake this president is. It's kinda like the republicans in 2008- no one with an (R) was going to win so they ran a communist for president and won.

Newt- Paul- Perry- they all can beat Obama.

No need to comprimise- we need to run our most conservative candidate- and we will win.

Ratings stunt?

Some believe that Michael Savage is in real life a libertarian liberal and only became a conservative radio host because it paid better than a liberal one.

Sometimes I think Glenn Beck is just an act too.

Maybe after GB's internet show dies, he will have a Saul type conversion and become a liberal host on MSNBC.

And he holds very little audience share among the conservative middle, which is where elections are won and lost. This would be like Lady Jazzer hanging her hat on something Thom Hartman or Bill Press said about a Democratic candidate. Thom Hartman, Bill Press. Michael Savage are the fringe of their respective political sides and don't hold that much influence over most American voters. But I guess it's fun to go to these idiots when you want to feign outrage and make point.

I disagree. People always give preference to an incumbent. If we run the wrong guy we lose. We have to put up someone who can lead the entire nation, not a small segment. A man with a history of ethical and moral lapses will doom us.

I agree. If you put Newt & his third wife on the stage with President Obama and his wife & girls, people will say to themselves "Who represents America better? A man who cheated on two wives and is married to his third wife or the guy who has a stable relationship with his first wife & is a father?"

Plus, Newt's own daughter has said she won't vote for him.

The conservative's only chance is Willard Romney, and I still think that conservative religious people will have difficulty voting for a Mormon.

If that were the case, our current executive would be behind bars for fixing the vote at the Democratic Convention in '08.
