In context of this thread, a tree that grows from the seeds of an apple that falls from the tree will have much different characteristics than the original tree itself and will differ greatly from it's progeny. This is true in wild apples, as their seed do not breed true to type, as well as in hybridized trees as they will never breed true to type under the rule of hybridization. Instead, orchard growers graft their trees in order to have continuity in their trees. One other little known fact about apples, is the story of Johnny Appleseed (aka John Chapman, a Swedenbourg missionary). Most legends concerning him was that he traveled the country spreading apple seeds for orchards. Instead, the apples of that time were unsuitable for eating and instead were used to making hard cider. He was actually battling against temperance movements.

Trivia for today.

LOL Dog....

As for the new "leader", I have a real bad feeling that either he, or the military leaders will show a sign of strength at some point in the near future. When the leader of a militarized and opppressed country dies, the power vaccum will need to be filled quickly and it must be known by the world. The only chip this country has is it's reputation of threats and fear...just look at what the media is doing. No idea what they will do, but I really feel like they have to let the world know that nothing has changed and they have not been weakened by the death of their nutter.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
