Not in liquor stores.......

I'd rather not send money to the general government for that purpose at all truth be known since the welfare of individuals is properly addressed by the State in which they are a citizen or resident instead of the general government; which was tasked with foreign and federal, not individual, relations.

Does that answer your question archer?

no. The program for food stamps already exists, wishing that it didn't won't make it go away....so recognizing the reality of food stamps, how much intrusion into the lives of the recipients do you think is warranted, and would that intrusion be worth the cost? That was the question.

I think if you are availing yourself of the compelled charity of the union's citizens the level of intrusion that is warranted is the level decided upon by the duly elected representatives of the citizens charged with disbursing the funds appropriated from the citizens of the union. If the representatives of those who are compelled to provide that charity decide that they need to provide receipts for not only the spending of the charity monies, but of all monies within that household, then that is the level of intrusion which is warranted. Accepting money from others always comes with conditions archer - always. Your employer has conditions that you must meet in order to remain employed, your parents had conditions that needed to be met for your allowance, customers of a business have conditions that must be met before they pay for items - when your money comes from someone else, there are always conditions attached to receiving it.

Who decides what those conditions are? The person or entity which controls the strings of the purse from which the money comes from, of course. Don't like the conditions? Don't take the money. Pretty simple concept really.
