First Obama, now Hollande stresses fiscal fairness
Two days after US President Barack Obama put tax reform at the heart of his re-election campaign, France's Socialist nominee François Hollande pledged to raise levies on banks, big firms and the rich to plough the country out of debt.[/i]
“Obama said he wants the secretary of a billionaire not to have to pay more than the billionaire,'' Hollande said. “I want the same thing.''
With both the US and France running out of options to plug gaping deficits and calm jittery markets, it seems both candidates have embraced fiscal fairness as their campaign slogans.

Oh, let the troll be. Twin is on a roll with one of his typical partisan outrages.AspenValley wrote: Marxist-lite? Crazy right wing radio rhetoric aside, Obama's policies have hardly varied an iota from G.W. Bush. Or was he was Marxist, too?

I have a marvelous idea. Instead of trying to deflect away from the truth and facts, why don't you tell me why the French socialist candidate is so interested in President Obama's ideas that were presented at his SOTU address. What do you know about French politics? Do you understand the reasons why this French politician would be so apt to co-opt Obama's "tax the rich" proposal? Or are you only capable of tossing off everything with an unintelligible protest to "let the troll be"? How about some intelligent input?
I'll wait.
