I have to agree with Otis, depends on the Demographics. It would work in Evergreen, probably not in Bailey.

I thought it was an interesting social experiment though, I believe people are responsible and will pitch in and pay something when it is an option.

If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2

Republicans are red, democrats are blue, neither of them, gives a flip about you.

Why don't you backup your assumption...remember, this is not some government program, it's a private business that is risking nobody's money other than their own. Show us why you think conservatives would be upset by what this PRIVATE company is doing. I think you may be a bit confused.

Bill....I would be happy to tell you why I posted what I did, since you asked me instead of insulting me. I have read many, many posts here from conservatives complaining about people who are getting something for nothing....yes they were talking about government programs....but I thought it was their ideology that caused them to make those comments, that is, they thought people should work for what they get.....now you are telling me it isn't ideology at all, just selfishness, they don't want someone to get THEIR money for nothing, anyone else's money is fair game and let em have it. thanks for clearing that up.

There is a place like this down on Tennyson around 38th. Intriguing idea, I wish them luck.

Supposedly in the restaurant business they make their real money on booze sales, so the drinkers are subsidizing the teetotalers?
