Dhimmitude is the Muslim system of controlling non-muslim populations conquered through jihad. Specifically, it is the TAXING of non-muslims in exchange for tolerating their presence AND as a coercive means of converting conquered remnants to islam.
Taxes are better than losing your head for being a infidel or a convert to Christianity from Islam.
I wonder if Muslim men are reading up on the Spanish Inquisisition for advice on tactics and torture methods.

Wow... I bet they are... I bet they're planning right now to burn all the bat-sh*t-crazy religious wackos in the U.S....starting with the TeaBaggers!!!!
My god, you'd better stock up on ammo and MRE's NOW!!!!
More to the point, 2012 appears to be unfolding as the “year of dhimmitude” for Egypt’s Christians. Consider the following anecdotes starting from just last January, all of which demonstrate an upsurge in the treatment of Egypt’s Copts as dhimmis (dhimmi being the legal term for Islam’s “protected” non-Muslim minorities—“protected,” that is, as long as they agree to a number of debilitations that renders them second-class citizens):
Or the hungry in Appalachia that you don't give a sh*t about...Or the long-term unemployed who can't feed their families here because they can't find jobs and their benefits ran out...
And you want me to give a flip about the plight of one particular sect in Egypt?.... (yawn)...
Yeah, as a matter of fact I DO worry about my own country and my own countrymen more than I do about some quasi-religious stuff that's going on in Egypt. And what about the North Koreans who are starving, and sent to gulags and work camps? You worried about them too?
The poor in Appalachia are a lot better off than the Copts in Egypt. I used to work with a Coptic Egyptian woman and she told horror stories about having to hide her Christianity and it has only become worse.

Didn't address the issue, did it? Deflectors on maximum!
You obviously have me confused with someone who cares about someone in Egypt having to "hide their Christianity", more than I care about my fellow countrymen.
