A Republican party that even considers a whack job like Santorum has left the planet, and me, behind. Romney's not as objectionable as Santorum, but he has major issues to overcome such as taking both sides of every issue. At least he's not on a personal vendetta to change the culture of the United States into his own version (I'm talking socially here). Can anyone actually make a good argument for Romney over Obama? It might start along the lines of fiscal conservatism, but I need real numbers and facts, not hyperbole.
Consider this, less than 10% of Republicans are voting in primaries, even less in the caucus States like Colorado that Santorum is winning, and of those votes, how many are simply protest votes against Romney?
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
I don't have a problem voting for Romney over Obama. Just the presence of a pro-business President may give confidence to investors and business owners to hire and grow the economy vs. hunker down with a class-warfare/over-regulation/tax-happy President.
Better chance for tax reform, entitlement reform, and long term deficit reduction. Obama has shown no interest in any of those.
Will Romney do it? Who knows, but I'd give him a shot at it like PS says. I would have rather had Huntsman or Indiana Gov. Mitch Daniels, but they are not available. We usually only get a choice of 2 for President: bad or worse. Sucks doesn't it?
If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2
Republicans are red, democrats are blue, neither of them, gives a flip about you.
I'd like to see Romney bring Rubio on....then we will actually have a leader in the executive branch of govt!
I know if Obama isn't re-elected, golf courses around the world will suffer greatly. I suspect he doesn't play as much on his own dime as he does on our dime.
Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!
