N Korea gives up Nuke's for food.- Happy Day!

The biggest news of the day- and some people are all bummed out about some dead monkey.

Seems North Korea is putting it all on hold- the whole Nuke
program! This is great news.

Under an agreement reached in direct talks in Beijing last week, North Korea has agreed to allow the return of nuclear inspectors from the International Atomic Energy Agency, and has agreed to implement a moratorium on long-range missile tests, nuclear tests, and nuclear activities at Yongbyon, including uranium enrichment activities, the State Department said. In return, the United States will provide North Korea with a large food aid package.

They seem to have come to their senses- and are willing to trade all this for some food.

Maybe that kid is going to be more level headed than his dad after all! He was educated in the west. Hopefully North Korea is thinking about his people for once. The communist system there was literally starving people to death. Yet another great example of what socialism brings.

The US are such suckers! How many times did Clinton and "W" send food aid to that country in exchange for similar promises.
Looks like the old man taught the son well.

Yes- dad did lie to us several times, but I think since this is the only thing we are willing to do over there- we better give it another try.

One thing I do know- the government of North Korea will not be able to eat all that food by themselves- some of it is bound to get to the people.

I agree Fred. This country's only assets are it's controlled robot population and it's military. I suppose we should also believe that if we're even nicer to Iran, they too will abondon their nuke ambitions and put more money into the hands of it's people. You can't fix crazy by helping the crazy....the only fix is a new government.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

I'm not holding my breath, but I hope they're sincere for their people's sake.

Or maybe N. Korea will be like Iran and let the inspectors in, then say, "You can't see that."

Hey... it's their country. If they want to have nukes, why should we stick our noses in their business?

I don't trust them at all, they must be laughing their little commie a$$es off! :) Fool me once, might as well fool me again. We should ask for a refund first for the last Clinton deal that was broken. I suppose if its not alot of money, maybe they can use the Gitmo Soccer field money first?

I agree with you on this. We are past the point of being able to stop all the crazies in the world, so we'll have to wait for one of these countries to push the button, then after they kill millions, we'll be forced to help exterminate them. Kinda like having a neighbor you know is homicidal, but you have to wait for him to kill before you take him out or call the cops.
