Clothing Discrimination?

Denver Post today: Seems the man running against Coffman thinks wearing gang or motorcycle colors should not be allowed to be discriminated against by bar owners, etc. Think this would be a good new law, or does this take away the rights of property owners to control who is allowed access?

I got kicked out of a bar in Denver one time for wearing a cowboy hat. True story. LOL

That was along time ago. We actually had a good laugh about it later and stopped spending money there. Oh well.

Yes we need many many more laws and more defined classes against discrimination. Keeps the lawmakers busy so they don't have to worry about passing budgets. :)

President has been set...we already tell property owners they can't allow people to smoke in their bar. First we have laws telling them they must discriminate, then we pass laws telling them they can't. Yeah, I'm confused.

Extreme example: should a Jewish deli owner be allowed to deny entrance to skinheads wearing Nazi uniforms? I would support the deli owner.

If you wear a shirt that has something offensive on it (pornographic for example) in a family restaurant, the owner may ask you to go to the restroom and turn it inside out rather than leave.

I support business owners to deny service to anyone - regardless of how ludicrous their reasoning might be.

It's their business --- at some point -their business will fail if they're out-of-line ----

Let the market do what it does best ---- if someone wants to run a bar that refuses services to people with purple hair ---- let em!

This guy is way out of line.

We need discrimination laws for fat people first. I don't know how the gay's got out in front of fat people.

There are restaurants at beaches that don't allow tank tops. Should that be included in this bill?

There used to be a steak house in Denver that didn't allow ties for men. I think if you wore a tie they cut it off and tacked it to the ceiling. :)
