Lumping all Republicans together again. Ron Paul is also a Republican and many of his views are the opposite of Santorum and wants the government to leave us alone. There is no perfect candidate on either side and one man/woman will never represent the views of an entire party.

When you say "the Republican idea" I assumed you meant at least the majority of Republicans and not just THIS ONE Republican. Sorry if I misread, but around here, blanket generalizations flow as freely as the insults.

Gee, when ALL of the leading Republican candidates regurgitate the same slogan about "smaller government, and getting the government out of our lives", the one or two on a chat room that say "not me" don't matter. It's a "Republican idea" because all the major candidates repeat it to the point of boredom. Too bad it's just a slogan and bears no relationship to reality.
I'm sure both Soulshiner and myself are waiting for an answer to his question:
