I wish you were right....but it seems there are some posters who have nothing better to do than try and catch a liberal contradicting themselves.

The only odd thing is that we find this odd. It is only a few grand, kids start businesses all the time, or they used to. I had a busines in HS and so did a couple other guys in my 30 person class. When you start a landscaping company in 9th grade, you will likely have a $10-30k company by 11th grade, esp when people trust you and you have lots of free time/youth to make your business work. Life and maturity don't start at 18, they start when you are mature.

Most of the sucessful, non employee types I know had their own ventures as kids and homes by their early 20's.
