Biden Does it Again

Joe Biden is not a man for understatement.

At a fundraiser last night in New Jersey, the vice president bragged about President Obama's decision authorizing the 2011 raid that killed Osama bin Laden.

And then he said:

"You can go back 500 years. You cannot find a more audacious plan. Never knowing for certain. We never had more than a 48% probability that he was there."

Really Joe? Ya, can't think of any plan more audacious...HAIL OBAMA!!

500 Years? we weren't even the US, and if BO is that old he don't look bad, of course Biden looks like he's 600+

Biden's dumbass statements don't surprise me anymore. He makes Dan Quayle look like a genius.

The credit should go to the Navy Seals and the advanced stealth technology and superb military training and intelligence, not to dip$hit politician suits bragging at fundraiser dinners. If Biden and Obama had their way, the stealth helicopters and other technology they made use of probably wouldn't have existed in the first place.

It was still a gutsy call, sending helicopters unannounced near a Pakistani military base and many miles risking detection. Not all Presidents would have risked the assets.

It just wasn't the gutsiest call in history. I am betting calls like this are being made numerous times all over the world but we never get to hear about them.

48% odds at a casino would be one of the better bets.

Interesting theory that the Paki's did know what was going on. Then they could still deny it, and choose to have all their air defense assets in "maintenance" the night the raid went down.

The FACT is, Biden is obviously ignorant of history or he thinks WE are. 99% of the credit should go to the guys that killed OBL..they are the ones who really have guts.

Please, Joe is a politician first, and part of that is being a cheerleader for others in his party, especially the President. (He doesn't want to be replaced.)
But being a politician also consists of trying to spin events and fool most of the people most of the time. This quote? More like it will only convince the simple minded.
Gingrich would have made the same call and probably called in a airstrike on the compound afterwards.
