Iran being nuked? That might actually happen during the Obama administration because the Israelis know they won't get any support from Hilary & Barack.

Has anyone ever seen a more blatant display of stereotyping? I have heard all my life that stereotyping displays little more than ignorance and bigotry by the person who chooses to engage in that endeavor. Seems like what I have heard is correct........

Of course, people who believe such things must misstate the intention in order to create the fear they are seeking to inculcate the electorate with. Do I think collective bargaining should be stopped? Only for public employees - and even the holiest of "progressive" holies of the Democratic Party, FDR, agreed with that sentiment. The others are equally exaggerated half truths or outright lies, which is not a surprise given the Democrats adherence to Alinsky's principles of divide and conquer.

Fred, do you think the decreased immigration from Mexico has anything to do with the booming middle class in Mexico right now and the fact that people like to stay where they grew up if they can afford to do so? That America is only a nicer place if their economy sucks and ours is great.....just like if our economy continues to suck and their continue to get better that this whole immigration process with all of its issues can go 180, conservative Mexicans sick of the American loosers with their iphones coming over to do jobs for low money to send it back to their mom in Bailey?

I realize the economy is worse here than it was, but there is more to this. Obama does not hire or fire private citizens. I have hired over the last two years. Obama had nothing to do with it. I fired 5 guys in 2005, Bush had nothing to do with that. Local govt ran that show. They made local rules and when I fired those guys, I just gave them the number for their local rep that lost them their jobs.

Local govts have killed more jobs than the fed could dream of, and they did it before the recession, you just did not notice because you thought everthing was fine.....and you were begging them to make all these job killing new rules or justifying them here on the boards. This is evident in CO mtn towns that have more than a plowing/road crew and a constable (all that is needed from govt in small towns). Look at Colordao local govts lately? It's like Massachusetts on steriods. It is way easier to do business, hire, fire and even get the DOR on the phone in Mass vs. Colorado. You can drive corner to corner in MA and pass less cops than driving between fairplay and bailey. Please listen to this and when you talk about your state realize that you rank lower than Mass for freedom and business rights, it should not be so. I have lived in about 1/4 of our great states and commonwealths....Colorado is the hardest state to do business in between them and has the most local regulations and the lowest level of home ownership rights. Try telling the assessor in CO that he cannot come on your land and then try it in Mass, in the end in CO they will come on your land and in MA they will NOT. I am sitting here in CO and hiring in OTHER STATES. Change some local rules and make freedom more common and I will hire here (I assume some of you have kids that you don't want to have to move out of state for work). Obama has nothing to do with my business decisions, but it is cute how people think that he runs everything.

Think about it, the only jobs you can count on in Park County are govt jobs...and they come at the expense of the private sector jobs.

I think those who claim to be righties who talk constantly about how the president runs and controls everything and is ruining everything are really extreme leftists who through this process of jabbering about this constantly are increasing his (or her) perceived power just by talking about it. Thanks a lot :Crying:

I think you're taking what Santorum is saying and painting it on all Republicans. Where are you getting your talking points from?

I think you're referring to Santorum...he's done because of his social agenda.

Every republican I personally know is moving towards more Libertarian thoughts. Social issues can go spit, let's fix the economy. If the current crop of candidates won't listen, the next ones will.

Archer,
The social conservative candidates like Newt & both Ricks are way behind in the primary. The businessman preaching about jobs, experience and the economy will win the nomination.
But continue to let the slanted media scare you with Opus Dei and birth control bans that will neve happen.
