I thought so too. That's why I felt pity for her. It just made her look like she was ignorant of the brutal realities of national politics. That movie made me wonder why anyone would want to get into that game. All of the advisors that were portrayed in the film have called it accurate and Palin has called it BS. Palin's real life showing makes me tend to believe the advisors more than Palin. They made a last second political choice with no vetting and it came back to bite them in the ass. As they say in the film, the game has changed and one needs to be a celebrity to win the election. Palin was perfect for what they needed. She just was all surface and no substance. Her stances on the issues are not chosen to win elections, they are chosen because they are her beliefs.
On the other hand, McCain sure was made to look like a giant wussy. I'm so glad that he wasn't elected, between him, his advisors and Palin, we would have been up the creek without a paddle.

Palin said she never watched the movie when she called it BS. She called it BS before it even was broadcast. I guess because she didn't want people to see the side of her she knew the campaign staff described. You can pretty much tell in the movie who leaked the info on her for the book that the movie is based on.
Harry Truman was a haberdasher and member of a political machine who had very limited experience but he stepped into the breech an d did pretty good. Sometimes you just don't know who will work out.

"Political machine" as in District Judge, and then a U.S. Senator who served the whole 6 years of his first term...(instead of quitting halfway through...) before running as a V.P.?
Yeah, that's pretty "limited experience" compared to Half-Governor MooseMeat.
