Mothers Should Be Required To Work Outside Home Or Lose Bene

G** Damnit, what Santorum and Romney don't get is--- It's about the economy stupid! Social issues are not what people care about right now. And they are running on stupid social issues not even ones that matter. What frickin idiot. Clinton was stupid for her remark but Romney and the the other Rep. just continue to make it even worse by not STHU! This is not a year to get into social issues. With Obama's track record this should have been a slam dunk. They are going to screw this up! Or already have.. Kerry had the same damn issue, he was an idiot. Where are all the good political strategists now days? They act like they are not getting guidance. Don't they realize how stupid they look and how many people they are turning off with these unnecessary comments?

They don't care. When you're a "righteous warrior" on a mission, nothing else matters.

Personally, I'm thrilled that they keep doing it. Then everybody except the few bat-sh*t-crazy zealots who follow them off the cliff sees them for what they are.

Better argument for what? Santorum and Newt both self-destructed because they can't turn off the "true believer" drivel? It wasn't about economics; it wasn't about jobs; it wasn't about pocketbook issues...(which is what the country cares about). They went off on contraception, gay marriage, Planned Parenthood, ad nauseum. They're campaigning like it was 40 years ago. They still haven't figured out that the standard wedge-issue playbook doesn't work with 90% of the voters today.

Older voters (who used to be susceptible to that sort of wedge-issue campaigning) are dying off, and younger voters not only don't care, but disagree and are turned off by it.

But, jus' keep doin' what yer doin'....

Do you get a tax credit for your rug rats? Then it looks like I am paying part of the price of your wife getting to stay home and raise them.

If free contraception and abortion in the final trimester are the new norm, why isn't NOW more popular? And why are the Republicans within the margin of error of winning the presidential election.

And why did the feminists not show up to support Obama and the Dems in 2010?

Ether your memory is faulty or you get all your information from lefty propaganda sites.

That is what brought Santorum down. What brought Newt down was attacking Romney like a democrat, not social issues.

"If free contraception and abortion in the final trimester are the new norm,..."

Phony equivalences...But you knew that....

And Republicans are still trailing the Dems by 19% with women--fake outrage over the "War on Moms" crap notwithstanding.
