Indeed BB - what has been stated from the beginning - salvation is an individual endeavor, not a collective one. You cannot fulfill the Word by paying your taxes and letting the government handle the details, or putting your tithe into the collection plate. The beatitudes are not about having others clothe the naked, tend the sick, visit the imprisoned, be merciful and all the rest with the money that you provide for that purpose - it is about doing these things yourself, in person, as an individual who is following the teachings of Christ - not as an absent member of a collective. We are called to be our brother's keepers, not finance others to do that work.
