Yes... You got it straight. Any questions? Even with your bullsh*t hypotheticals...That's right. And all you are getting is THIS Lefty's opinion. But you feel free to try to extrapolate it in your usual "all liberals" generalization.

No further questions here- I know exactly where your comin from!

Interesting counterpoint to the Trayvon & Oklahoma racial killings, as concealed carry has expanded to 49 states, gun crime has fallen. While we still have horrible tragedies, they are becoming more and more rare.

‘Justified’ homicides up 25 percent since states passed Stand Your Ground laws

Rising numbers of civilian justifiable homicides across the US are closely linked to states with both weak gun controls and stand-your-ground laws, according to a Guardian analysis of FBI and other data, which show a 25% increase in such killings since the controversial self-defence laws started being introduced around 2005.

And I'm the one that's supposed to be crazy?

:Loco:

I have no wish to see these laws stay on the books. PERIOD. (And I'm glad that ALEC decided to stop backing these cockamamie laws.)

The right to bear arms is more than a Constitutional right: every human being has the natural unalienable right to self-defense. Cicero said 2,000 years ago, “If our lives are endangered by plots or violence or armed robbers or enemies, any and every method of protecting ourselves is morally right.”

In 1987, my home state of Florida enacted a “shall issue” law that has become the model for other states. Anti-gun groups, politicians and the news media predicted the new law would lead to vigilante justice and “Wild West” shootouts on every corner.

But since adopting a concealed carry law Florida’s total violent crime rate has dropped 32% and its homicide rate has dropped 58%. Floridians, except for criminals, are safer due to this law. And Florida is not alone. Texas’ violent crime rate has dropped 20% and homicide rate has dropped 31%, since enactment of its 1996 carry law.

Big difference between justifiable homicide and murder. One lowers the crime rate and one increases it.

Or some guy saved his life after he was given a beat down by a suspended high school football player...

Only if you believe the NRA/neo-nazi version... But no matter.

I stand by my contempt for the NRA and ALEC. Deal with it.

Consider this. If Zimmerman wanted to kill Martin why did he not shoot him before he got beat up?

Cuz he had it all planned...he wanted to show that he was attacked first so he could justify shooting him. This was planned for weeks...he just waited patiently for the right color victim to step into his web, then he set his pre-meditated plan in motion. Makes sense to me....

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
