Does anyone wonder why these reports came out this week? NPR and the other mainstream media all come out with reports this week saying that Mexican and other illegals are going home faster than they are coming here?
First of all- we have no idea how many millions of illegals are here in the first place- they are illegal- under the table and hard to track. My guess is that the numbers are about 30 million- which is more than the government estimates.
I'm quite sure about one thing though- these reports are no coincidence- it's pure propaganda from the white house. Obama wants to play the problem down- because he knows it will be a campain issue. I don't believe these reports- it's pure left wing propaganda. The problem is real and persistent.
Sure some are going home- but many more are still coming, and tens of millions are squatting here illegally, using public resources that they did not pay for. They are also still taking construction jobs away from Americans- if they were just picking fruit- there would be no reason to go home. Some are going home because there are no construction jobs being added in this economy.
Every illegal that gets sent back home is a construction job created for an American citizen.
How about if 30 million illegals or if all the illegals go home there will be more jobs for Americans.

Yes. And many of those jobs are construction jobs, jobs in the service industry, and jobs in food service.
Our unemployment rate for teenagers is 25%- many of those jobs that teenagers used to fill are currently occupied by illegal labor.
A kid can't get a job very easy anymore at a micky d's- taco bell or burger king because of illegals- nor can a kid get a summer job at a car wash- or working on a farm.
