Welfare At All-Time High Under Obama

Since the recession supposedly ended in mid 2009, the number of people who have applied for disability benefits is double the job growth figure, according the report which includes an informative chart. In just the first four months of this year, 539,000 joined the disability rolls and more than 725,000 applied for the federal benefit. That means nearly 11 million people are on disability, according to the Social Security Administration.

Of course the libs will indicate they don't like the source and so therefore none of the above could possibly be true. :bash

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

I'm just hoping that I'll have some change once the liberals get what they are hoping for!

Actually, I hope that the last three and a half years has made the average American a little smarter or at least made them more aware of the misdeeds of Mr. Obama and his administration. Perhaps I have too much faith in the general populace?

You have too much faith...in at least half the population anyway. There's still people waiting for that "Obama Money" to hit their accounts.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Yep, everything is getting better. What I say every time I see the sad state of affairs.

Yes Otis, too much faith.

More Americans on welfare is considered a success for Obama and the Socialist.

Liberals think American needs to be more like Europe. The longer Obama stays in office, the more we resemble Greece, Italy, & Spain.

The big numbers are questionable. Puerto Rico is one area where docs and lawyers have set up shop to milk the system. Its a big drain on SS funds too. $124 Billion in 2010 and growing

...a pharmaceutical plant that recently closed in Puerto Rico, with 300 employees losing their jobs Shortly after the layoff, 290 of the 300 former employees applied for Social Security disability benefits and they all used the same doctor

I've heard that in the last few months- more people are now getting government benefits- than are working.

When the looters out number the producers- it dosn't take long for the collapse.

I want to get out of this working gig too- and sit back and let the government checks roll in. Lets all quit our jobs and sign up for Obama bucks- Yea!

I've heard that collecting money from the government is easier than working for it.

If you can't beat un- join um! We are going to find out if Ayn Rand was right pretty darn soon.
