Elizabeth Warren's BS Coming Back To Bite AGAIN

This just keeps getting more and more funny by the day. She has made the claim that's she's part Cherokee (1/32 at best)... now it appears that her great great grandfather was helping to kill Cherokees.

But Paul Reed, a Utah genealogist who is a fellow at the American Genealogical Society, said he found primary documentation that shows Warren’s great-great-great grandfather Jonathan Crawford served in a Tennessee militia unit that rounded up Cherokees before they were force-marched to Oklahoma in the infamous “Trail of Tears.”

“Jonathan H. Crawford did serve in the Indian wars,” said Reed. “He is listed as serving in the company that rounded up Cherokees.”

Maybe he married a squaw war bride?

Why would it make a difference what her great great grandfather did? Perhaps that is not the side that has Cherokee blood? Any one of us may have had an ancestor that owned slaves, we may also have a black ancestor.....one does not negate the other.

I think this is news because of the irony of the situation, Ms. Warren appears to have claimed special status because of her ancestor's race when it looks like her ancestors were actually fighting Cherokee instead of being Cherokee.

It would be similar to a granddaughter of Joesph Goebbels claiming recompense for Holocaust crimes comitted against a make-believe Jewish grandmother.

Most of the people I know in North Carolina, and I know a substantial number of folks from there, claim Cherokee heritage. Those darn Cherokees must have been some of the most prolific Native Americans ever.

Not saying it makes any difference, just that her claiming to be a minority (which would probably make most white people minorities of some sort), has dug up some nasty history she can't be happy about. I call it the ultimate karma. rofllol

I wasn't outraged either. Just mildly amused.
