Depends on which poll you choose.... overall average is a slight edge to Obama. But the range is Obama +8 to Romney +7 and everything in between.

Hey, I good with one being elected.

If Romney wins, he'll have a huge job to do and I get to heckle from the peanut gallery.

If Obama wins, he'll have a huge job to finish and I'll have to endure four more years of stupid birth certificate eligibility posts.

As we've seen so many times in the past, polls mean nothing six months before an election. So much can happen between now and then. It's what the voters decide on election night that ultimately counts.

BTW, the Rasmussen Consumer Index you quote me talking about? It's up even higher now than it was when I made that original post.

The Rasmussen Consumer Index, which measures consumer confidence on a daily basis, gained a point on Friday. At 90.4, consumer confidence is down four points from a week ago, up a point from a week ago, and up three points from three months ago.

Unfortunately, the numbers will shift due to Democratic lies and propoganda.

In general, my opinion of the voters in this country has fallen drastically in the last 10 years. They are so easilly swayed by sound bites and internet innuendo. It's pitiful.

Yeah, they could have had "The Geezer and Gidget"... Maybe they aren't so stupid after all...

It's 6 months until the elections...The polls are going to be up and down between now and then...just like the stock-market...just like the numbers on the economy. For someone to pull a Rasmussen poll today and crow about it is, as usual, laughable.

Right... because you never use a Rasmussen poll and crow about it...

Boy, facts are a bitch...

And it's only the strip malls in the poor and middle class neighborhoods that are going empty. The 1% are still on a spending binge... (It's supposed to "trickle down", isn't it?)

You're right... facts are a bitch... Romney 50% - Obama 43%... (you took the bait right on schedule).

That doesn't surprise me...Romney is getting a lot of exposure right now....good or bad it really does hold true that any publicity is good publicity. I hope the novelty of Romney will wear off, and voters will take a good hard look at the man they want to replace Obama with. It's a long road to November.

He could lose alot of his black supporters for his coming out of the closet on gay marriage.
While polls suggest America on the whole is moving toward support of same-sex marriage, ABC/Washington Post polling shows 55% of black voters are still against it. That compares to 43% of whites.

Won't matter when push comes to shove at election time.

Seriously? If a guy who has been so inept as president as Obama, and he hasn't worn off of everyone....

Too bad he didn't admit how horrible he has been and let Hillary run. At least she has a clue on what being president is....

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

Depends on what your definition of "good" is.
