Was reading the Journal this morning and it appears that Dems didn't want labor unions to mount a recall effort to take down Walker. The man who is running against Walker had to spend money on a costly primary challenge and now is way behind in fundraising. Plus the effort had united the TEA Party nationally and in Wisconsin to keep the anti-union governor in office.
And it might even hurt Barack. Barack won the state by 14 points in 2008, but now Mitt and him are essentially tied in the polls. The Romney campaign is considering making Wisconsin a battleground state.

I read that the DNC won't send $ because the polls say Walker wins.

The DNC won't send money because they are going to need every penny to pay for ads aimed at keeping the current occupant of the Oval Office in place for another 4 years and trying to hold onto every seat they have in the Senate. Republicans only need to gain 4 seats from the party of Democrats up for reelection this year to gain control of that house of Congress. There are easily 7 Democrat seats, and perhaps as many as 11, where this is going to be a difficult undertaking and 2 seats which are problematic for the Republican Party. Democrats have 23 seats on the ballot this year, Republicans have 10. In 2010 the Democrats lost 6 seats and I expect similar results in 2012.

A little over reach? Political ass holedness is not criminal.
I wonder how many tens-of-millions it cost the Koch Brothers, Karl Rove & Crossroads, and the other millionaires to bail Walker's a** out of the fire? However much it was, it's that much less that they will have to spend on the anyone-but-Obama campaign...
I don't think it's over. But I DO think that the political dirty tricks that will be used to suppress the votes of the recall campaign, and put in phony election judges, and steal the election are just really getting started...

"They can't win if they don't cheat."
When the election comes up... I'll be waiting for you proof of those remarks.
Already breaking out the voter fraud card! rofllol This is Wisconsin a traditional Dem state. They haven't voted for a Republican president in decades. If anyone is messing up the vote in Wisconsin it is the Dem party machine.
