Many Obama Donors in 2008 are Tight-Fisted in 2012

What is your theory on why Obama donors who gave so freely in 2008 are not giving so liberally in 2012? Could it be that they don't have as much money to give in 2012? Might they be unemployed now? Or did they run out of koolaid?

Most of the people who contributed at least $200 to then-candidate Barack Obama in 2008 have not contributed much to his presidential reelection campaign, according to a press report.

The online website Buzzfeed said 88% of the 550,000-plus Obama’s donors who gave $200 or more four years ago have failed to matched that total in 2012. And more than 182,000 have given no money at all.

The general tone of Obama supporters is one of disillusionment – they don’t think he has been liberal enough. “I still think the world of President Obama and I was just so happy when he was elected,” said one woman from Ohio. “I’ve just been a little disappointed in things, that’s all.

Some also say they are not in as good a position financially as they were in 2008.

The Obama campaign argues that they are ahead of pace in fund raising compared to 2008, but Republicans are closing the gap and there’s a growing chance that Romney could outraise the president.

Obama was finally vetted and they found out the the man has no clothes or ideas on how to fix the economy?

But this isn't entirely true, the 1%'rs in Hollywood still like him. And the VC still are giving him money because they realize BHO still has a good chance of winning in November and no matter who wins, they will be writing big goverment contracts that they want a piece of.

The people that donated then are seeing a prseident that is using Hollywood Stars and rich busines men to promote his re-election.
Some have stated he is totally out of touch with the real American people, people that can't fathom having dinner with the "stars" and spending time on the golf course with Looney.

Do you think those same people would then relate well to Mitt Romney? Really?

It's all about the ads. If BO thinks that showing him as movie star material he will lose donors/votes. If Mitt capitalizes on this and shows himself with the common man on the job or in the fields etc he will advance.

No one looks more uncomfortable with the common man on the job or in the fields than Romney.

Bo and Romney are the same, so neither relates.
