Yes, that is what I call govt run healthcare. A massive govt. bureaucracy. Just because you like massive govt bureaucracies, doesn't mean you can change what the definition is.
From wikipedia....
"A bureaucracy is an organization of non-elected officials of a government or organization who implements the rules, laws, and functions of their institution"
Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

Yes, now you are not only paying for the private insurance bureacracy, but you now get to include the goverment bureaucracy, new IRS people, more goverment employees monitoring everything from restaurant menus to doctor billing practices.

I'm still waiting for a source for your phony partisan claim. Let me know when you have a VALID one.
Medicare/Medicaid spends LESS in administration, i.e. "bureaucracy", as a percentage of it's budget than ANY private company.
I know I'll get flamed for this, but I think it is a bad idea to mandate 26 yo "kids" on employer group plans. First off, they are not "kids" at 26. Second, no one has cheaper rates than healthy 20 year olds, probably $100/ month, only a bit more than a smart phone. Third, it may be smarter policy to have more of them in the smaller, unbalanced individual insurance risk pool, rather than the larger more stable employer group risk pool.
But never mind thinking about unintended consequences, it just sounds like a good deal, and it's "free". Whoohoo!
And gov't run plans administrative costs are understated. Not included is the IRS, payroll tax collections by private companies, and the maze of government forms health care providers deal with to get paid by medicare, etc.
If you want to be, press one. If you want not to be, press 2
Republicans are red, democrats are blue, neither of them, gives a flip about you.
