The politicians know you don't want this. The United States was built off the backs of such hard working illegal immigrants you all speak so harsh of. Maybe you should Thank them for feeding your lazy butts. Just ask any farmer, cow farmer, meat packer, hotel cleaners/maid services and/or trash services who are having hard times finding "Americans" to do this type of work. I give my thanks to those hard workers for helping me feed my family on a tight budget. Maybe you should shut your mouth with some food picked by your local illegal immigrate, stupid Americans.

I really don't care. I get arrested if I break the law. It's about time we start treating everyone equally. And I don't lump every Hispanic with everyone like you do ("stupid Americans"). I was married to an Hispanic... for 15 years. And she and her family has been in this state since the middle 1600's. and they don't appreciate illegals anymore than other Americans do. You're the bigot. (see "stupid Americans")

Sounds like this liberal likes their underpaid help.

Well, good.. I'm glad to see you support fair wages for all...And perhaps even a rise in the minimum wage. I agree that underpaid help is a serious problem.

OK, I'm going to try this even though I expect to get my ass chewed off.

Yes, I do support fair wages for all. I think the US should issue foreign worker permits good for a decent amount of time (one year, two, or more. Whatever is fair.) Then put the workers under the control of US wage laws.

That would make sure the workers were not taken advantage of and allow US citizens to compete for jobs that they would normally not take because welfare pays more.

But Raees is right, things will get more expensive.

Yes, she probably IS right, and I would expect things to get a little bit more expensive...But for ONCE, we agree on something!! The position you stated is virtually identical to my position on the subject!

And I'm honestly glad to see that we can agree on something!!

At least we've heard from one of LJ's "average not-to-bright voter."

Uhh, you must be "not-to-bright" because it was a quote of archer's conceit, not LJ.
Pssst, and it is "too", not "to".

So, you have self-identified as "to lazy or "good"" to pick all the onions, cabbages and other veggies from the field. And you have admitted that you are a "lazy butt". And you think of yourself as a "stupid American".

Or are you speaking of your those who are not your equal?

Pssst, and it's "too" lazy.

Indeed....and I am flattered you would quote me in your sig line....Someday you, and the other conservatives, will come up with something original, but in the meantime, feel free to steal from the liberals.
