Obama sends jobs to China

GE CEO Jeffrey Immelt, The Head Of Obama’s Jobs Council, Is Moving Jobs And Economic Infrastructure To China At A Blistering Pace

Jeffrey Immelt, the head of Barack Obama's highly touted "Jobs Council", is moving even more GE infrastructure to China. GE makes more medical-imaging machines than anyone else in the world, and now GE has announced that it "is moving the headquarters of its 115-year-old X-ray business to Beijing". Apparently, this is all part of a "plan to invest about $2 billion across China" over the next few years. But moving core pieces of its business overseas is nothing new for GE. Under Immelt, GE has shipped tens of thousands of good jobs out of the United States. Perhaps GE should change its slogan to "Imagination At Work (In China)". If the very people that have been entrusted with solving the unemployment crisis are shipping jobs out of the country, what hope is there that things are going to turn around any time soon?

This is Obama economic policy. And he has the audacity to attack Romney over this issue?

General Electric's Chief Executive, Jeffrey Immelt, is one of President Obama's advisers on… ready? U.S. job creation!

GE made $5 BILLION in the U.S. but paid $0 in federal taxes.

This move by G.E. goes exactly against the grain of the Republican philosophical argument that suggests tax breaks for corporations encourage job creation and investment in our economy. G.E. could not have possibly paid any less in taxes, yet Mr. Immelt is moving this operation to Beijing, China.

Maybe he wants the US Government to pay HIM for moving the jobs there? It would appear that's what Romney wants....

This is Obama's Jobs Czar.
Obama's 1%'er.
This is Obama's track record. Obama gripes about tax breaks for the 1% and his Jobs Czar is the worst of the worst offenders. And then his Jobs Czar sends his jobs to China after paying no tax. Obama's Jobs Czar is unAmerican, so that makes Obama unAmerican.

This is Obama;s record of accomplishment for the past 3 1/2 years. Vote him out!

So you finally admit that you are unconscious. This is a step in the right direction.

I'm very glad to hear you agree that Immelt is un-American. He is a Republican. So that makes you un-American.

Back when he agreed to advise the Obama administration on economics, General Electric CEO Jeff Immelt told friends that he thought it would be good for GE and good for the country. A life-long Republican, Immelt said he believed he could at the very least moderate the president’s distinctly anti-business instincts.
That was three years ago; these days Immelt is telling friends something quite different.
Sure, GE has managed to feast on federal subsidies, particularly the “green-energy” giveaways that are Obamanomics’ hallmark.
But Immelt doesn’t think he’s had anywhere near as much luck moderating the president’s fat-cat-bashing, left-leaning economic agenda of taxing businesses and entrepreneurs to pay for government bloat.

Friends describe Immelt as privately dismayed that, even after three years on the job, President Obama hasn’t moved to the center, but instead further left. The GE CEO, I’m told, is appalled by everything from the president’s class-warfare rhetoric to his continued belief that big government is the key to economic salvation.

No, I admit that you're trying to blame Obama for some slimebag Republican CEO using the tax-code left in-place by Bush to allow a multi-billion-dollar company escape paying any taxes whatsoever. He's an adviser to Obama? B.F.D. So is Geitner...And I think he's a slimebag too.
