He probably did. I commend him for being willing to do that even though he wasn't dressed the occasion.

I guaranty I'd look a hell of alot better - even in a suit.
When I was building houses- we would have guys approach us on the job site asking if we had any openings for laborers-
All I had to do was ask them- "hey, could you hand me that hammer over there". I could tell instantly the way they picked up the hammer to hand it to me- if they were worth 15 dollars an hour or 2 dollars an hour.
Obama's photo reminds me of that- worth about $1.50.
