Federal civil-rights investigators interviewed dozens of George Zimmerman's friends, neighbors and co-workers, and no one said he was a racist, records released Thursday show.

FBI agents spread out across the state, talking to three dozen people, including gun-shop employees, Zimmerman's ex-fiancée and the Sanford police detective who led the investigation into the fatal shooting of Trayvon Martin, an unarmed black 17-year-old.

None said he or she had ever known him to show racial bias. A co-worker who saw him the day after the shooting said Zimmerman was "beat up physically and emotionally."

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Excellent deflection, are you going to actually respond to the post or ponce about like a great big Nancy girl and avoid actually addressing the topic?

The left has a such a large investment on Z being a racist that facts do not matter.

I do wish Zimmerman was a more upstanding individual. The shoot looks like it was legal, but the man doing it not so much.

Well in America, we judge people based on the evidence and not what they look like. He's lucky he's a white-Hispanic and not just white. LJ types would still be camping outside the courthouse demanding that the "racist" be hung. The guy may still be guilty, but if he was black himself, guys like Jackson and Sharpton wouldn't waste a seconds worth of breath on him... nor would the media.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

The way you justify your own inner hatred by forcing ignorance upon yourself is pathetic. It's never been about whether Zimmerman the man is a racist...not about whether he has KKK jammies in the dresser or swastika tattoos...the issue is his actions, which in my opinion were 100% racially driven.

Keep playing "dumb" - you're VERY good at it.

So if Trayvon had been a white, hispanic, or Asian teen wearing a hoodie, this wouldn't have happened?
