Romney Campaign Money Buys Supporter New Truck

Did you contribute to the Romney for President campaign?

If so, you helped buy some guy in Virginia a new truck.

After speaking in Sterling, Romney met with Jim Wilson, a Virginia “super fan” who has spent the past year trailing the Republican’s campaign. Wilson’s white GMC pickup truck burst into flames last week, and the campaign donated a new white truck. Romney also gave Wilson an accessory for his travels: a fire extinguisher.

As he stood next to Romney, Wilson — in his trademark shorts and white socks — said: “That’s the trophy!”

Just think of it as a very very cheap and uplifting campaign ad... money well spent.

The left is angry because they are now being judged by the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.

Well, it's a tough decision to decide between buying a $25K pickup truck or spend $800 billion plus for President Obama's stimulus which was supposed to of reduced unemployment to about 5.7% by now.

While I have no doubt the stimulus did create jobs (at great expense), looking at that chart it appears we were at about 8.2% unemployment when the stimulus started, and are still at 8.2% today.

Can I now decide to buy that truck for $25K instead? lol

Back to the original post about campaign money being used to buy a truck...

Do you think money contributed by supporters for a candidate's campaign should be used for such non-campaign expenses? Oh wait, you're the party that paid for Palin's designer clothes during the last campaign. What was I thinking?

Public relations, son. You think Michele paid for all her clothes while campaigning.

Buying the truck is a nice gesture for your loyal supporters.

Considering the gentleman has spent a year campaigning for Romney, it seems that it could be a well spent campaign expense. What you failed to mention is the article did a good job of dismissing the "Romney outsourced" claims.

Seems like the left has very little "left" to accuse Romney of. I would suggest that Obama and his supporters start to actually address the real problems that currently have befall our country... jobs and the economy.

They can't do that Twin - they only had one plan to fix the problems and they've found out that history does repeat itself and that single plan they do have hasn't worked any better this time around than it did when FDR tried it.

How? The economic policy of the current administration has been a dismal failure. The only option for the Obama marketing group is to attack and demonize the opposition. They have no choice. I have little doubt that we'll see new lows from the Obama crew when it comes to attacking Romney and his running mate.
