If I didn't have kids, I would probably welcome some mass chaos and revolution (beats worrying about cancer coming back). Plus I could finally put my stack of ammo to good use.

I wouldn't say I am worried about zombies or mass rioting just yet. But I don't have any faith in the Federal government or faith in investing in the financial system right now. Don't see either Obama or Romney or Congress having the leadership or plan to solve problems until there is an imminent crisis.
