The Sun rises in the East and sets in the West

I'll bet we can get a right/left partisan argument going about this outrage! Any takers?

Reminds me of the movie, the Green Berets, where the sun sets to the east over the ocean.

Well, if you filmed the movie in California that would happen, but in Vietnam, the sun rises over the ocean and sets in the mountains to the west.

Good point. And when Superman spun the earth around backwards, the sun set in the east! So there!

Vietnam does have a west coast. Others have pointed out that it could be a sunrise that was filmed instead of a sunset.

I thought the sun was stationary in relation to the earth's movement.
