None of this speaks to his ability to be president...it speaks to what kind of man he is. His gaffs are like being invited to someone's home and, upon walking in, tell them how ugly their home is. It may indeed be ugly, but common courtesy/decency says you don't do that. It is especially important for those in high office/wanna be in high office, not to speak badly about their host's country. I really don't want this kind of man as president...he is arrogant, boorish, and doesn't seem to care much who he insults. It's just part of who he is, and I seriously doubt being president will change that. Now that kind of person may well appeal to the conservatives......apparently it does....
Well, at least I think he's found a way not to give the press any gaffes to chew on in Israel...He's not allowing any press to cover him or ask any questions. I wonder if he thinks he can make it all the way to November by only talking to FauxNews when he gets back?
Romney traveling press secretary Rick Gorka, asked to comment, simply said, "Closed press, closed press, closed press," as he walked down the aisle of the candidate's campaign plane during the flight from London to Tel Aviv.
