Our first gold medal was in a shooting compitition

Shows you how much YOU DON'T KNOW. Trap shooting involves shooting objects in the air. Now you would have been accurate if you had said "Yeah... Useful if you need to shoot a lot people (that are falling off a building toward you) in the head... maybe."

(PS. Your sentence structure stinks and your spelling is worst. You can't get a conceal/carry license if you can't read or write, and you're not going to get a pass by telling the instructor that you "just learned to walk upright" a week ago.)

I'm damn proud of Kim Rhode!

I've shot trap and skeet for about 15 years off and on. I'm not that good. I enjoy it, and have NO issues with it.
It's a clean and fun sport ---- and it's certainly a sport. It takes incredible skill and concentration to hit 99 targets.

Incidentally, I'd guess she was a VIP guest in the UAE - not Saudi.
(Sheikh Mohammad's nephew is an Olympic shooter, himself. The UAE has a very nice shooting club in the Emirate of Dubai)

The finalists for this year's men's events include shooters from Qatar, Kuwait, the UAE, and Oman.

(Gulf Arabs have a long history of competitive shooting - and they're pretty darn good at it)

Is Diamond cutting a sport? Is a surgery a sporting event to you too?

Stupid washington post just put a medal alert in their subject line. Man that makes me mad. I have been so careful not to find out ahead of time.

I'm having trouble mustering up any interest in these Olympics..Everything should be geared to our time zones..I don't care if they have to play the games at 2am in London- Instead they thumb their noses at us by scheduling absolutely EVERTHING outside the normal viewing times here.

As usual, everything's all about you. Pathetic.
