Companies expanded their payrolls more than expected in July.
Businesses added 163,000 jobs last month, according to payroll-processing company ADP. Economists surveyed by Briefing.com predicted the figure would come in at 125,000.
Still, that's less than the 172,000 added in June, which was revised down slightly from ADP's initial report.
The ADP jobs report strengthens the view that the pace of hiring has picked back up after slowing sharply in the spring, said Joel Prakken, chairman of Macroeconomic Advisers.

I dont.
Of course you don't.....it didn't come from a right wing source, or, it isn't information favorable to the Republicans.
Seen too many bald faced lies archer. I'm not a fool- go ahead and keep those rose colored Obama glasses on if you want- I'm only interested in what's real, no matter what the source is.
If Congress and the administration wanted to keep the young and unskilled out of work, how would they do that?
It’s not hard. Indeed, recent history suggests that they know how. They would raise the minimum wage, pricing young people out of some jobs. They would require that firms pay for health care, or, failing that, pay a penalty for each uninsured employee. They would discourage unpaid internships, which are often a first rung on the career ladder. They would try to ban young people from some jobs in agriculture on family farms.
Our government has done all this, and more. That’s one reason this Friday’s unemployment data for July will show unemployment rates for young people remaining around 24 percent for teens and 14% for 20 to 24-year olds. Here’s how it works:
Increases in minimum wage. Minimum wage increases from $5.15 per hour to $7.25 an hour over a three-year period, from 2007 to 2009, particularly affected young and low-skilled Americans.
And we wonder why many of our young people don't have a good work ethic. It's because they can't find work. The jobs they used to take have likely been taken by adults trying to make ends meet. I don't blame the adults for taking the work and higher wage, but it's sad to think we are raising a generation of young people who didn't have the opportunities we did.

Seriously? You really think I would care that Obama is president if the economy were booming at normal post recession growth rates, unemployment were back at 4% and we were all cruising along? My issues with Obama are the fact that he has no clue how to get the economy going.
This is ok news...still going backwards, but at least, if the data is right, in smaller steps.
Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!
