Female employees of Obama for America earned less on average than male employees during the months of May and June, according to a Washington Free Beacon analysis of the campaign’s public filings with the Federal Election Commission (FEC).

The Obama reelection campaign’s female employees earned an average of $6,872 during that period, compared with an average of $7,235 for male employees. That is a difference of $363, or 5.3 percent.

I saw this posted a month or so ago. The key takeaway was the jobs were different. There are -- as in previous administrations -- more men in key roles and more women in supplementary roles. You'd find the same disparity in the Bush administration. Give only a 5% difference, I rate Free Bacon's outrage as FAIL.

Funny how Dems forget to point out the difference in jobs when they want to point to women/men wage differences.

I believe the actual studies that are done on wage disparity in the US use men and women in comparable jobs with comparable experience levels and education.......the Republican's claim of wage disparity in the Obama administration did not, but hey, it makes good copy till the truth is pointed out.

Not always, the biggest disparities are often shown to be invalid. And the wage gap has been decreasing since the Obama recession because male jobs like construction and manufacturing have been in a slump.

CBS's Nancy Giles Insists There is a GOP 'War on Women'Appearing as a panel member on the Saturday, July 21, Melissa Harris-Perry show on MSNBC, liberal CBS contributor Nancy Giles complained about Republican efforts to discourage abortion, and insisted that there is a "war on women," as she seemed incredulous that Republicans do not view themselves as conducting such a war. Giles melodramatically exclaimed that, "It's you!" referring to Republicans, waging a "war on women." Giles began her rant:

Obama ad revives war on women theme
Via The Fix, a new Obama campaign swing-state ad is reviving the "war on women" theme, hitting Mitt Romney for his position on abortion.

“I’ve never felt this way before, but it’s a scary time to be a woman,” a woman says directly to the camera. “Mitt Romney is just so out of touch.”
