Reagan, Republican, three years and we were out.
FDR? 12 years to climb out.
Obama 3.5 years so far and it has become worse.

See the trend?
Clinton didn't take that long to fix the economy. Maybe because he actually did bipartisan economic work with Congress instead of shacking up with OWS?

I'm guessing that Reagan didn't have a bunch of partisan-hack teabaggers whose mission-in-life was to block every single thing that he tried to do...for partisan political-assassination. Amazing how much better it works when you don't have obstructionists blocking everything...and then blaming you for "not getting anything done."

Imagine my surprise....

Reagan had to deal with a Dem Congress and still managed to get the country turned in the right direction. Obama owned the House and Senate when he started, spent trillions, lost ground and the country rejected his ideas by "shellacking" him in 2010.

"Dealing (read: compromising) with Dems" is not the same thing as " bunch of partisan-hack teabaggers whose mission-in-life was to block every single thing that he tried to do...for partisan political-assassination. Amazing how much better it works when you don't have obstructionists blocking everything...and then blaming you for "not getting anything done."

...And you know it.

It really only got bad when Pelosi(D) took over the House.

lol Once again, evidence from the Left that Obama is a powerless figurehead. Only rarely have Republicans controlled the House and Clinton was able to work with them. Most Republican Presidents have had to work with Dem houses, and worked to get things done.
The Dems should have nominated the corpse of LBJ, would have done just as much.

Yes he did. But he did something our current president doesn't do. He was a leader. Obama is a follower. He is weak. Chris Christie has pushed stuff thru by leading, even though he has "partisan-hacks" to deal with.

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!
