If people with bat guano where their brains ought to be had their way, the Bubba's would be right. The sudden increase in sales are for the very items you wish to take the ability to purchase away from those who have a natural right to keep the type of arms in their homes that they may need to defend their liberty from their government some day.

Exactly. People are fearful that those effective arms will be restricted- and they are flocking to the local gun store to clean them out.
It's cookie heads like State Rep. Beth McCann, D-Denver that are driving up the sales of those guns. These liberal anti-gun types are the best salesmen for assult rifiles and high-capacity ammo clips that the gun manufacturers could ask for.
They say Obama is the best gun salesman the USA has ever seen.
Thankfully- we have these things called constitutional rights, which limit the "mob" mentality from taking over - they protect the individual from the masses, and that was their intended purpose.
So hopefully the rush to take away our guns will be impeaded by our rights- as the leftist mob makes yet another request to further infringe on the highest law in this land.

Deal with it.
I am dealing with it....
I may put your quote in my sig line! I hope the demoncrats propose this gun ban this fall- just before the election.

That's exactly what the citizens of the States are doing SFB - they are dealing with the potential loss of their rights and their liberties by purchasing in bulk now to have on hand later. Your incessant bleating is putting more and more of the very arms of which you are most afraid into the hands of more and more people. Congratulations and thank you - we appreciate your pointing out the dangers posed by collectivist thinking far better than we could ever hope to do without you.

Obama has sold more guns than Samuel Colt, with Clinton a close second. Assault weapon sales were very lackluster before the ban, now everyone wants them. Same with magazines. It used to be a guy was happy with a spare, but once they were banned, everyone bought 10 or more. Some have bought hundreds hi-cap magazines.
Thomas Sowell: There are no solutions, just trade-offs.
Could very well end up being a better investment than gold if the guano brains somehow manage to "interpret" their way around the Constitution and its 2nd Amendment at some point in the future . . . .
