There were energetic shouts of “Aye!” and “Nay!” as a Puerto Rican party functionary—Zoraida Fonalledas, the chairwoman of the Committee on Permanent Organization—took her turn at the main-stage lectern. As she began speaking in her accented English, some in the crowd started shouting “U.S.A.! U.S.A.!”

An attendee at the Republican National Convention in Tampa on Tuesday allegedly threw nuts at a black camerawoman working for CNN and said “This is how we feed animals” before being removed from the convention, a network official confirmed to TPM.

Mitt Romney's Popularity Falls Before Republican Convention, Poll Finds

The importance of Ann Romney's strong speech was highlighted Tuesday night by the release of an ABC News/Washington Post poll that found Mitt Romney's popularity falling going into the Republican National Convention.

According to the survey, Romney's favorability among Americans was down to 35 percent, versus 51 percent who have an unfavorable opinion of the GOP presidential nominee. Of those in the unfavorable category, 31 percent said they had "strongly" unfavorable opinions of Romney.

Gee, 51% unfavorable, of which 31% is STRONGLY unfavorable. You think a convention where the Republican-Taliban stands up there for three nights caterwauling about "traditional marriage", "no abortion under any circumstances", and screwing the middle class is going to turn it around? Just sayin'....

Oh, and Obama's numbers from the same poll: President Barack Obama's favorability rating was at 50 percent in the poll, while 44 percent of those polled rated the president as unfavorable.

So, let's summarize:

Favorable: Obama: 50%...Romney: 35%
Unfavorable: Obama: 44%...Romney: 51%

This is beginning to sound like the last Park County Sheriff election...

Juan Williams: Ann Romney A 'Corporate Wife' Whose 'Husband Takes Care Of Her' (VIDEO)

Fox News' Juan Williams stunned his colleagues when he attacked Ann Romney's speech at the Republican National Convention on Tuesday night.

Mitt Romney's wife generally drew plaudits for her speech, but Williams focused on the opening section of the address, when she talked about the empathy she felt for struggling families. He said that the passages rang hollow coming from her.

"Ann Romney ... looked to me like a corporate wife," he said. "The stories she told about struggles — eh! It's hard for me to believe. I mean, she's a very rich woman, and I know that, and America knows that."

There was a distinct pause, and then host Bret Baier said, "Wow, OK." Host Megyn Kelly asked, "What does that mean, 'corporate wife?'"

"It looks like a woman whose husband takes care of her, and she's been very lucky and blessed in this life," Williams replied. "...She did not convince me that, you know what? I understand the struggles of American women in general."

Yes, my take on it too, based on the few clips I've seen, and her "How dare you..." interviews....

What does Anne Romney make for dinner? Reservations.....

And they couldn't even get Juan Williams, (who's the DINO who went over to the Dark-Side at FauxNews), to drink the Kool-Aid....

Chris Christie Speech Blasted As 'Off-Key' By Chris Wallace

TAMPA, Fla. -- Fox News host Chris Wallace had nothing but nice words for Ann Romney's speech at the GOP convention on Tuesday night, saying that it was "effective" and that "everyone afterward was buzzing" about it.

But New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie's (R) convention speech? Not so much.

"I have to say, personally, I thought it was one of the most off-key keynote speeches I ever heard," Wallace said.

He noted that Christie said the word "I" 37 times, "Romney" seven times, and "jobs" one time.

"t seemed sometimes as if he was promoting his own candidacy more than he was Mitt Romney's," Wallce added. "People liked the speech, but not nearly the kind of intense reaction to it and intense listening to it that there was for Ann Romney."

Speaking to the New Jersey delegation on Wednesday morning, Christie actually addressed why he mentioned Romney so infrequently.

"My job last night as I saw it, and I spent a lot of time talking about the speech before I gave it because, nobody would show up," Christie joked. "I really felt that my job last night was to lay out the stakes in this election and the choice in this election. And as it turned out, with Mrs. Romney going first it freed me up -- remember she was supposed to be going Monday night and because of the hurricane it was canceled -- so instead both of us were on the same night."

Wallace, however, said Christie's explanation is further evidence of his failure to do his job on Tuesday. "If you're explaining the day after, that's never a good sign," Wallace said.

Oh, no! Chris Wallace? "Et tu, Brute..." Dang, can't even get Wallace to regurgitate what they want to hear.... :VeryScared:
