OR... We can wake up someday with the money from the investments repaid, WITH INTEREST, and more money in the treasury than what was there before... MAYBE, some of THIS will "trickle-down"....
You're right... It DOESN'T bother me... For once it will be nice to see something done for the middle and lower classes instead of putting more money into Wall Street, Banks, Investment firms, CEO's who are already rich beyond belief, and making ANY OF IT available to Private Equity firms and Vulture Capitalists like RMoney and his crony-capitalist buddies....

Which is why my preferred term of description is collectivist. Almost without exception they seem to be of the collective opinion that the more something is concentrated into fewer and fewer hands, the greater the safety and security attached to it becomes.
It actually isn't surprising to me that the collectivists are excited about printing money to exchange for the largest single hard asset possessed by the majority of the middle class. The Federal Reserve is investing nothing, making a profit off of it, and sharing that profit with the general treasury and getting a physical asset as security on their phantom investment to boot.
What ever happened to too big to fail being a bad thing? Why isn't that sentiment applicable to government as well as the private sector? Please tell me why having hundreds of billions of dollars worth of housing that the middle class is living in being consolidated into the hands of a select few isn't included under the umbrella of "too-big-to-fail"?
I don't have a problem with the difference in a opinion, i have a problem with the justification that we should be called names for what we believe. IT is just a difference of opinion. And the name calling tactic of making the other side look evil is tacky and not even sure what it means. I think so many dems have bought into that all republicans are against anyone other than white men propaganda. I don't understand how you can believe that is right. I think they look worse and sound way worse than what they say about republicans. Just my opinion. I know there are wing nuts on both sides and sometimes they are scary, you have to look at what the real agenda is. Talk show hosts are about big shocking statements to get ratings so don't take that seriously. Wing nuts are into total control. Even politics are not necessarily out for the county (most of the problem) But the broad brush shows a lazy way of thinking. IMO.
I tried to explain this on the 9/11 thread on not even on that day could one person just say yeah, we are americans today. I feel that both parties are hated so much that the other side is looked at worse than a serial killer. And the only way to stop it is to just stop and get a little rational for a change.
ON that thread I tried to go a little towards the other side and I was met with more defense. Until we get a little respect this county isn't going to go anywhere no matter what we do. Intentions undertneath mean everything.
